As a Mom of 4, my life is crazy. Here are 7 products that make my life easier. I take all the help I can get- from cleaning bathrooms, to cooking dinner – to getting just 5 more minutes of sleep. These 7 gadgets help my sanity stay around just a little longer.
Handheld Shower Head: A toddler is FAR away from the shower head and that makes getting all the shampoo out of their hair hard. A handheld shower head makes it easier to get the water closer and their hair cleaner. PLUS it’s awesome for cleaning the shower! Instead of having to fill a cup or splashing the sides of the shower- it takes seconds to wash the walls with this.
Magic Eraser: I can’t tell you how many times these have saved my sanity (and an extra long time out for my toddler). In fact just yesterday mysterious circles made out of pen showed up on my freshly painted kitchen wall. Just a few swipes of these magical erasers and the marks were gone and my blood pressure returned to normal.
Emergency Portable Charger: Nothing is worse than being stuck at the DMV with a dying cell phone. Keeping a charged portable charger in my purse alleviates the panic when the phone begins to die. It’s saved my sanity on several occasions- both keeping me in touch with my family and keeping my youngest occupied during these long, boring waits.
Black out curtains: Since I dup black out drapes in my bedroom I sleep so much better! Putting them in the kids’ rooms means they are sleeping past sunrise this summer!
Tote Basket: These are a life saver in so many ways. From picking up toys right before opening the door to an unexpected visitor to carrying library books or food to donate at the food pantry- these large tote bags can carry almost anything. I keep one in the car and one in the house and trade them out as necessary!
Crockpot: Slow Cookers have come a long way in the past few years and they are my #1 secret to getting home cooked meals for 6 on the table 7 nights a week. The new Wifi Crockpots are amazing and are even dishwasher safe!
Keypad door lock: If you are like me you’d rather load your arms down with 17 grocery bags than make two trips. That means getting to the door and trying to contort around to get your keys out of the bottom of your purse. Then trying to get the key into the lock…. pointless. Keypad door locks make it so easy to unlock the door with just a code instead of a key. PLUS it allows the kids to get into the house if they have to GO before you can even unbuckle your seat belt.
